The Big Bad Wolf sometimes sneaks into our homes and tries to huff and puff our reality away.
There are dreams. And then there are difficulties. There are aspirations and then there is adversity. Each vision together with its compound adjective.
While blowing on the candles, we must make sure that we don’t blow the wishes away either. It’s a touch of luck and a lot of hard slog that puts a flag at the end of the excursion. On a single day, there are so many instances that there is sunshine and rain and broken sky. An elastic version of that is our trail of life. A little to put sun block on, a little with the umbrella and the rest where we spread out our arms and enjoy the winds.
Of course its not bad all the while. There will be stops where we tent in and sleep, or hike out for adventures. And if it doesn’t, we make sure it does. The sweat and struggle is only worth it when we learn to enjoy and embrace.
There will be rusty roads and broken boulevards but we skip and jump and dodge it all because what matters is not how greasy our trousers become at the end but that it managed to stay on us all this while.
And all we have to do is make sure our home is made of bricks.
