2 pens down

I’ve kissed coffee an adieu since my sleep cycle was not cycling to the beat and held hands with lemonades for this season here in winter wonderland.  Sipping lemonade in this 20 degree weather, loafing in my cushion-lounger with the cushion cajoling my back with the perfect press, my feet comfortably numb inside my sneaker socks and with the company of a lot due workload.

Assignments to be submitted, chapters to be re-revised, notes to be jotted, accounts to be matched and all of it is a hectic happy affair. Because those 5-minute intervals, facebook breaks, stretches and of course the calls seem deserved.

The sugar granules have just dissolved in my drink and so did the spirit to start writing. My wpm talent is waiting make it to the big book. The big book of world records together with other incredibly difficult challenges I’ve met like making it to college in this snow cone of a city. Only I know.
But the ice is melting and there are no other amazing, acceptable, satisfactory, harebrained excuses to lie in my Mount Vesuvius of a bed ( with the efforts of course) and get royalty treatment after showing that my nails have been dipped in blue.

For now, I’m going to submerge in every flake of this remaining winter before my blood starts to run again!
