“I will not get carried away on the summer-fun until my exams are over” is the thought that we want to stick on the inner walls of our mind during the study break but a devilish little corner, glowing red and smoking fumes of wickedness, knows that the glue is as permanent as a teeny, square-sized post-it.
But alas, after crossing boundaries of various courses, jumping walls of bricked memorization, swimming rivers and climbing ropes and camouflaging in the think dense forests of examination and a little of ramming and cramming, summer finally is here! This is no exaggeration because even though we don’t break a tear of actual sweat, only we know how much work we’ve gone through.
Of course it is also true that those little and big plans that are ever so filled with a world of excitement and thrill and adventure, of being sure that THIS summer will be the best till date, where we’ll travel to exotic kingdoms and unveil hidden secrets or find a Narnia-like land and meet strange people or perhaps explore astounding territories and bring home a souvenir to remind the rest that we were the warriors of that trip and all those little and big plans we make while studying and sleeping and showering are golden at the time…………. but turn blonde when the first day of summer actually sets in.
After which, the exotic lands turn to going to our grannys’s place and meeting exotic people are the neighbors that want us to try that new dish they’ve made and the hidden secret unveils to be that my favorite shirt got mixed up with my mom’s laundry.
Nevertheless. It’s summer!
